This yogi traded in the waves of Orange County for a life in Sacramento, exploring the mountains and forests of Northern California before moving back to the southland. After becoming a resident of Redlands 3 years ago, she found Vasa and immediately made herself at home in the community. She graduated in 2017 from the flagship Teacher Training program at our very own studio, and has been enjoying spending more time with the students ever since.
Practicing yoga has been more than just a physical routine for Babs, it’s a way to make peace with each day by bringing a calm awareness to the struggles we all encounter. After learning of yoga’s benefits over 10 years ago, she has spent the last 5 years dedicated to a regular practice, and agrees that those have been the best spent years of her life thus far.
Finally being able to focus on her passion for healing, she is always excited to learn new things, meet new people, and bring an exploration to her yoga practice in order to enhance daily life for herself and others.
When she’s not on her mat, Babs enjoys being with her adventure dog Stella, exploring nature’s beauty whenever possible. Whether it’s in the mountains or on the beach, you can usually find them enjoying their surroundings with a big smile and a tail wag.
Babs is currently assisting yoga glasses at Vasa, as well as teaching a few times a week, if you enjoy a calming energy and playful attitude, you won’t want to miss out on what she has to offer. Find your breath with Babs, seek your center, and watch your worries melt away.
